How do I enter?

Purchase, balance and install four (4) winter tires between September 27th and October 10th 2013. Then register your purchase online at www.canadiantire.ca/freetires using your invoice.

What information will I need to register?

Your first and last names, mailing address, contact details and invoice number.

How long does registration take?

Registration should take between 5 – 10 minutes.

When is the last day of registration?

November 30th, 2013.

How is the Maximum National Average calculated?

Ten (10) designated recording stations (listed below) have been selected across Canada. On December 21st, 2013 (Recording Date) the maximum daily temperature for each station as recorded by Environment Canada will be used to calculate the Maximum National Average temperature.

When and how will I receive the rebate?

In the event that the temperature is met as defined by the terms, it may take up to sixty (60) days after the Recording Date for you to receive your rebate. The rebate will arrive in the form of a cheque delivered to your mailing address.

What if my area is well above the 10°C?

This program is not triggered by your regional temperature. This is a national program which means we take the maximum temperature from each designated recording station and average it out to get the Maximum National Average temperature.

How will I know what the Maximum National Average temperature is on December 21st, 2013?

The Maximum National Average temperature will be posted on www.canadiantire.ca/freetires seven (7) business days after the Recording Date. You will also be notified via email. Your local store will not be able to provide you with the answer.

How do I qualify for the Pre-Winter Advantage Program?

Customers who purchase a set of four (4) winter tires, have them balanced and installed between September 27th, 2013 and November 17th 2013, will automatically be enrolled into an exclusive Pre-Winter Advantage Program.
